Today, at around 3:00 p.m. we officially welcomed Theodore,(mostly known as Theo), into our home. As a 4 month old German Shorthair Pointer Mix, this amazing "pound" puppy has a lot of energy. He is a sweet, lovable bundle of puppy breath, and the "oh-so" delicious puppy poop that seems to come with the puppy territory. Considering all the stress that Theo was under at the shelter, plus being transported and introduced to an entirely knew family and house, he acted like the perfect little gentleman he is. He ran off-leash almost the moment we came home and never strayed far. We taught him how to sit just today, and by golly that darnest little dog will do it whenever you ask(usually...and mostly just for the Milkbone you have in your hand...Goodness, what a smart dog!).
That dog has captured the hearts of the entire family, not to mention all the faculty and visitors at the shelter. I look forward to some AMAZING years ahead with Mr. Theo!!
